About the Site

Dottie Interactive LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is an in-house studio that designs and publishes our own mobile apps and games. The Site is an informational and promotional website about our studio and products. We do not offer client or contract development services through the Site.

Our apps and games are governed separately

Our apps and games (such as WordBowl) are distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of any of our apps or games is governed by the end-user license agreement and terms presented with that product, together with the terms of the applicable app store. These Terms apply only to your use of the Site itself.

Acceptance and eligibility

By using the Site, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with us and that you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.

Intellectual property

The Site and its contents, including text, graphics, logos, the Dottie Interactive LLC name and marks, product names such as WordBowl, designs, and software, are owned by or licensed to Dottie Interactive LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Site or its underlying systems.
• Introduce malware, scrape, or use automated means to access the Site in a way that burdens our infrastructure.
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Dottie Interactive LLC or infringe the rights of others.

Third-party links and services

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including app store listings and the individual websites for our products. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on the Site is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dottie Interactive LLC and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dottie Interactive LLC and its team from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Alabama.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
